Writing on your own can be successful and fulfilling, but when it is not, it is not necessarily your fault. Writing can be both tedious and challenging at times. If you are facing difficulties in your writing process, cannot overcome your writers' block, or simply don't know where to begin, we will be happy to help you.
As we are students and teachers ourselves, you will be helped by a peer during the consultation, who may not be an expert in your specific field of study but who is instead an expert in methods of writing. Presenting your topic and your questions to someone outside of your field of studies can be beneficial because your audience is able to detect possible holes in your argument, as well as raise questions there where your argument is perhaps not coming across clearly enough. On the other hand, your peer's expertise will help you to find solutions and strategies that are fitting both to you and your writing style.
These consultations take place during our office hours from Monday to Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
